A reception for the high donor
and corporate sponsors at
11:00 AM will kick off the
day’s event. At 12:00PM, Connecticut
Renaissance will cut the grand
opening ribbon and address
the audience with comments
on the event’s significance.
The theme is “Renaissance
in the New Age”. Guests will
join a tour of the newest
facility and witness Connecticut
Renaissance use of modern
technology to assist the community.
Live entertainment will feature
local musicians and food will
be provided by local vendors.

Sara M. Herz, PhD, President
of Connecticut Renaissance's
Board of Directors, Paul S.
Timpanelli of Bridgeport Regional
Business Council, William
Carbone, Executive Director
of the Connecticut judicial
Branch, Court Support Service
Division, Dr. Fred McKinney
of Connecticut Minority Supplier
Development Council, non-profit
representatives, and local
community members are scheduled
to participate in the grand
opening ceremonies.

Connecticut Renaissance on
their new facility.

of the Grand Opening Celebration
of the Juvenile Risk Reduction
Center, hereby officially
proclaim September 9, 2005,
as Connecticut Renaissance
Day in the State of Connecticut.
Connecticut Renaissance,
Inc. is a non-profit multi-service
agency that has been providing
behavioral health and community
release services since 1967.
Renaissance's mission is to
help clients re-enter the
community as drug-free, responsible,
gainfully employed citizens.
Connecticut Renaissance maintains
operations in Bridgeport,
Waterbury, Norwalk, Stamford
and soon to be opening a center
in Hartford. Connecticut Renaissance
receives funding from Department
of Correction, Department
of Mental Health and Addiction
Services and the Connecticut
Judicial Branch, Court Support
Services Division.
